Knowledge base
Extensive research by CCRED on regional value chains and food markets has created a strong knowledge base in areas such as fertilizer, poultry and transport. It also pointed to an important knowledge gap and urgent imperative to develop a platform for food systems transformation based on detailed insight, thereby laying the foundations for the African Market Observatory.
