Dr Sheila Farrell will present on how the Ports Regulator in South Africa has interpreted the provisions of the 2005 Ports Act, and how far this goes in achieving the objectives of the Ports Act. The discussion will draw on international experiences of Ports Regulators in India, Australia and elsewhere.
